Emoji Ninja collects nothing about you and sends nothing home. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your scores, your settings and what you own are stored on your device.
What stays on your device
- Your best scores, levels reached and measured typing speed.
- Your settings — sound, difficulty and which cosmetics you are wearing.
- Which items you own.
None of it is sent anywhere by the game. Deleting the app removes it. If you have iCloud backups switched on, Apple backs it up the same way it backs up any app's data, under Apple's terms rather than mine.
Game Center
Achievements and leaderboards are Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in, Apple records your progress and shows your Game Center nickname on leaderboards. That is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy — the game sees the nickname you have chosen and nothing else. You can play the whole game signed out.
Purchases
Everything in the shop is bought through Apple. Apple handles the payment and tells the game whether a purchase succeeded. I never see your payment details, your name or your address.
Advertising
There is one optional rewarded video you can choose to watch at the end of a level, limited to three a day. There are no banners and no interstitials, and no advert ever plays without you asking for it.
Those videos are served by Google AdMob. To do that, Google receives information from your device — an advertising identifier, general device and network details such as your IP address, and whether you watched or dismissed the video. That is Google's collection, not mine, and it is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms.
The app does not ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so under Apple's rules the identifier Google receives is limited. You can change what apps may do at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset the advertising identifier under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
Children
Emoji Ninja is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone of any age — because I do not collect anything at all.
Your rights
Because nothing about you reaches me, there is no account to close, no data to export and nothing to delete on my side. Deleting the app removes everything the game stored. For anything Google holds, use the Google link above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change ever means the game starts collecting something, it will say so plainly here and in the app.
